16-19 Year Olds Apprenticeships

Instant Training works in partnership with NWTC (Liverpool) to offer young people the opportunity to access apprenticeships, which include:

  1. NVQ Level 2s in:
    • Bricklaying (Trowel Occupations)
    • Joinery (Wood Occupations)
    • Plastering
  2. Intermediate Construction Awards in the appropriate vocational area.
  3. Key Skills Level 1 in Communication and Application of Number
  4. Employment Responsibilities and Rights

In order to access an apprenticeship opportunity the young person must have an employer who is willing to employ them through the full programme. Employers who are CITB registered may be entitled to funding to assist with the costs of this training.

  • Key Skills on line assessments
  • Theory sessions to ensure that candidates have all of the underpinning knowledge required to achieve the apprenticeship

In addition, we also offer young people the opportunity to take part in CSCS Health and Safety test training.

For further information on how to access an apprentice, or offer an apprenticeship to a young person, please contact Jenny Mullee on 01744 26677 or 01744 23892.
